Day 669: Disney Castle.

It’s time to play with my new highlighter pens again. I am a Disney nut and had planned to go to Disneyland Paris later this year sadly all of those plans have gone down the drain due to Covid 19 and booking problems with Disneyland itself. So roll on to 2021 when I hopefully will get to go this time. Until then its time to just draw and design my own Disney theme art pieces.

Materials:

  • Staedtler Traditional Highlighter pen set.
    • 1 Yellow.
    • 2 Red.
    • 3 Blue.
    • 4 Orange.
    • 5 green.
    • 6 Violet.
    • 23 pink.
    • 35 Turquoise.
  • HB pencil.
  • Papermill Mixed Media Paper.
  • Scrap plastic or a box lid.
  • 0.3 small Faber-Castell Pitt Artist pen.
  • Artline Chisel Decorite pen.

Method:

  • Sketch the outline of the Disney Castle with the HB pencil.
  • Using the scrap of plastic draw over the plastic with the highlighter pens.
  • Press the plastic ink down onto the paper.
  • Lift the plastic off and scribble over the plastic again before pressing Over the card overlapping the colours previously laid down.
  • Using the thin Faber-Castell black marker to draw around the castle outline making sure you fill the thin sections with the pen.
  • Using the Decorite chisel pen fill the bigger section of the background in with the Black ink.
